Capturing the
melancholic daydream

South Korean indie band ADOY has constantly with wowed me their unique take on popular music despite their relatively small presence in the Korean and Western music scene alike. I don’t remember where I’ve read this but an article describe ADOY’ s aesthetic as a “melancholic daydream” and I can’t come with a better phrase that encapsulates what they are in essence even if I tried. I decided to explore their song “Swim” in order to best express the lyrics in terms of aesthetic and vibe
